Applications now open for the AustCham Future Business Leaders Program
The AustCham Future Business Leaders Program is an elite career-development event series operating in cooperation with Australia-China business leaders from AustCham member companies. As part of this program AustCham will select up to 50 outstanding young leaders in Beijing from a range of professional and academic disciplines to take part in this on-going event series.
The purpose of the program is to prepare young future business leaders with the knowledge and networks necessary to thrive in business between Australia, New Zealand and China through regular events. Participation in this program will allow participants to broaden their professional network in China and to showcase their leadership potential and knowledge of industry in China to current and future employers.
Events
Successful applicants will be invited to attend exclusive monthly presentations made by senior business representatives as they share their experiences and on-the-ground insight from their respected industries. A Q&A session followed by casual networking will also allow participants to interact and ask questions to the speakers including industry and career advice. Events will be held at the AustCham office in Chaoyangmen, and other venues in central Beijing, including Hatchery. Occasional company site visits will also be organised over the course of the year. Events are free of charge to Future Business Leaders participants and will be held at least once every month. Participants do not have to attend all events and can select according to their availability.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Positions are available for young professionals, recent graduates and students aged between 20-30 years of age (at time of application). Applicants currently residing outside of Beijing may apply. Events will be only held in Beijing.
Applicants from the following countries will receive preference from the selection committee: Australia, New Zealand, China and Pacific Island countries. Other nationalities are eligible to apply.
Applicants must be AustCham Young Professional Members to participate in the program. Applicants who are currently not members of the Chamber can apply and join AustCham as a Young Professional Member upon successful selection into the program. Follow the link for more information about joining as a Young Professional Member. Employers working at AustCham member companies are eligible to apply and do not need to apply for Young Professional Membership.
Applicants will be asked to demonstrate their desire and potential to become a future Australia-China business leader and their relevant experience. Successful applicants will be from a range of academic and professional backgrounds.
Admission is merit based with focus on the applicant’s interest areas, achievements and future business aspirations.

JingJobs – An innovative Australian startup offering an online and offline jobs platform for young talent in China.
