The Great Aussie Barbie 2015 was a GREAT success!
On behalf of AustCham Beijing we would like to thank all our sponsors, vendors, raffle prize sponsors, guests and the Australian Ambassador, H.E. Ms Frances Adamson, for supporting The Great Aussie Barbie 2015! The day was a hit and in all honestly we could not have asked for it to have gone any better. The weather was absolutely amazing, the venue was immaculate and the food was delicious.
We would like to thank Meat and Livestock Australia True Aussie Beef & Lamb for providing all the meat for the BBQ. Dulwich for hosting the event and Sofitel Wanda Beijing for cooking the delicious meat as well as providing fruit, salads and dessert!
We would also like to thank BlueStar AMG for providing free flow beers, United Family Healthcare for providing first aid and Asian Express for providing the logistics for the event.
It really felt like we had brought a piece of Australia to Beijing on Saturday, especially with the presence of the AFL China Cup game (Beijing Bombers vs Shanghai Tigers) and the cricket (Australia vs Britain), it really did feel like home.
We would also like to congratulate the Shanghai Tigers on their China Cup win and the Australian Cricket Team on their win!
