Christopher Neil is Managing Director of the Orient Group of Companies, which operates across Australia, Hong Kong and mainland China. Originally from Perth, Christopher first visited China as a tour guide in the early 1990s and subsequently studied Mandarin Chinese.
Christopher has extensive leadership experience, having held senior management positions with multinational organisations across several industries, including Foster’s China and The Great Wall Sheraton Hotel. He also holds directorships with several companies. A regular keynote speaker, he advises Australian businesses on their China strategies, market engagement and representation. His expertise spans the full business lifecycle, from concept development, due diligence and feasibility assessment to financing, marketing and commissioning.
Christopher has a strong track record of supporting clients in international business relations. He combines an extensive professional network with deep experience advising foreign companies entering and engaging with the Chinese market, as well as helping Chinese companies expand internationally. He travels extensively throughout China and the wider region.
