On Thursday evening, AustCham hosted “Is Your Education Brand China Ready: Tailoring Your Message In The World’s Biggest Education Market”.
The event was held at the Cheung Kong Graduate School for Business (CKGSB) and over 30 people attended in what was an informative and enlightening panel discussion. The panel featured esteemed speakers Ira Zaka, the Assistant Director of Global Marketing & Communications at CKGSB; Wang Wei, the Marketing Director of Oriental Cambridge Education Group; and John Hopkins, the Assistant Headmaster Marketing & Communications at Harrow Beijing. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Amanda Barry, the director of ANU’s China Liaison and chair of AustCham’s Education Working Group.
The discussion centred around the best way to position your education brand in a changing Chinese market, and each speaker brought a unique perspective on their kindergarten, secondary and tertiary education marketing experiences. Following the discussion, the audience participated in an engaging Q&A and afterwards enjoyed networking and some wine and food.
