CIFTIS is a global and comprehensive exhibition and trade platform established at the national level especially for trade in services. With the support and guidance of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, CIFTIS has evolved into the world’s largest comprehensive exhibition for trade in services after several years of development. President Xi Jinping delivered keynote speeches via video link at the 2020 and 2021 CIFTIS, and sent a congratulatory letter to the trade fair of 2022, noting that “CIFTIS is a crucial platform for China to expand opening-up, deepen cooperation and pioneer innovation, which has made a positive contribution to promoting the development of global service industry and trade in services.”

The third RCEP Regional (Shandong) Imported Commodities Expo is scheduled to be held at the Linyi International Expo Center from August 18th to 20th, 2023.

This expo will host three pavilions, including the RCEP International Pavilion, the RCEP Smart Technology Pavilion, and the RCEP Exquisite Life Pavilion. In total, the exhibition area amounts to 35,000 square meters, equivalent to 1,200 international standard booths.

The 6th World Green Development Investment and Trade Exposition will be held from 4 to 8 September 2023 in Nanchang, China. The event is organized by the People’s Government of the Jiangxi Province and aims for full-scale exchange and mutual understanding in promoting green development and accelerating global collaborations in the green economy.

The theme is “embracing openness, deepening cooperation and promoting green development”. Hence, this year’s Exposition will feature a wide range of activities including seminars and symposia, promotional conferences and exhibitions, providing an extensive platform for all participants to exchange ideas in green development, to share their experiences in green investment, to explore potential opportunities as well as pursue green development ideas.

In 2023, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) has entered into force for all 15 member states.

In order to promote win-win regional cooperation and inclusive development, the Third RCEP Economic and Trade Cooperation Business Summit is slated to be held in Nanning, Guangxi on the afternoon of September 16, 2023 (during the 20th China-ASEAN Expo). It is planned that the forum will be jointly hosted by the ASEAN Secretariat, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang AutonomousRegion of China.

Business leaders, well-known experts, scholars and business representatives from RCEP member states will be invited to enter into high-level dialogues and exchanges on“integrating into RCEP’s more open market and promoting win-win cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region”.
