The MLA Great Aussie BBQ 2016 was a GREAT success!
On behalf of AustCham Beijing, we would like to thank all our sponsors, vendors, raffle prize sponsors, and lovely guests for supporting The MLA Great Aussie BBQ 2016! The day was a hit and in all honestly we could not have asked for it to have gone any better. The weather was absolutely amazing, the venue was immaculate and the food was delicious.
We would like to thank Meat and Livestock Australia True Aussie Beef & Lamb for providing all the meat for the BBQ. Dulwich for hosting the event and Sofitel Wanda Beijing for cooking the delicious meat as well as providing fruits, salads, and dessert!
We would also like to thank BlueStar AMG for providing free flow beers, United Family Healthcare for providing first aid and Asian Express for providing the logistics for the event.
It really felt like we had brought a piece of Australia to Beijing on Saturday, especially with the presence of the AFL China Cup game (Beijing Bombers vs Shanghai Tigers) and the cricket (Australia vs Britain), it really did feel like home.
We would also like to congratulate the Shanghai Tigers on their China Cup win and the Australian Cricket Team on their win!

AustCham’s annual “Great Aussie BBQ” will be held September 10th at Dulwich College. Bask in the sunlight whilst being entertained by a thrilling game of AFL where the Beijing Bomber’s will come head to head against Shanghai Tigers, and an electrifying 20-20 cricket match headed by the Australian and British communities. Let the kids be entertained with summer fun activities and treat your taste buds to some of the delicious food and beverages available throughout the day. Most importantly though, don’t forget to grab a ‘snag off the barbie’.
