Post Event Update| Future Business Leaders | Company Visit to LIC Media

December’s Future Business Leader company visit will take place at LIC Media, China’s largest privately owned media company and the largest importer of documentaries into China.
LIC China, established in 1993 as the agent for Australian Broadcasting Corporation, has grown into an independent corporation with eight companies in four cities; Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Sydney. It’s main business activities are in the TV & film, advertising and publishing industry. In audiovisual aspect, LIC China has been doing production, syndication and distribution both in domestic and international market places.

Leland Ling
Leland Ling is CEO of LIC-Beijing – China’s largest private documentary production company involved in the television industry. Leland has degrees from Shanghai Tongji University, Beijing Film University and the University of Technology, Sydney. In 1990 Leland migrated to Sydney. Prior to that he had been a senior executive in the Department of Culture of China, based in Beijing.
Steven Seidenberg
Steven Seidenberg is an executive producer in the International Department at LIC Media. He is also a frequent trainer at documentary workshops around the world, including Asian Side of the Doc, Crossing Borders and Greenhouse.
