Post-Event Update | Breakfast with the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory

08-28-18 @ 7:30 am - 9:30 am

Post-Event Update

On Tuesday 28th August, it was our pleasure to host breakfast with the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory, the Honourable Michael Gunner MLA at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.  It was a tremendous honour to hear the Chief Minister excitedly speak about the rapid growth of the Northern Territory and its emerging relationship with China, especially given its close proximity compared to other parts of Australia.

We extend a huge thank you to our guest of honour, Michael Gunner for speaking with us yesterday.  Also a big thank you to our guests for joining us for breakfast!  It was a fantastic morning.

On Tuesday the 28th of August the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory, the Hon. Michael Gunner MLA, will speak to the AustCham Beijing membership on his visit to China, addressing the bi-lateral relationship between the Northern Territory and China and the importance of trade.

8月28日周四澳大利亚北领地首席部长Michael Gunner将在北京举办早餐会,届时部长将分享此次中国行的目的并强调北领地与中国间重要的双边贸易关系。

Mr. Gunner will provide an update on the economy and opportunities in the Northern Territory. Topics of particular interest include the Northern Territory Government’s announcement in March 2018 permitting onshore gas exploration, new agricultural investment opportunities, Chinese investment into Darwin Port, as well as the NT’s education and tourism sectors.

Michael Gunner将提供北领地经济现状与相关机会。话题将包括北领地在2018年三月宣布的海上油气勘探,最新农业,教育和旅游相关投资机会以及中国对达尔文港的投资。
