
The Energy & Resources Industry Forum aims to broadly represent the needs of AustCham China members in energy & resources industry, by promoting and facilitating their business interests.
Energy & Resources Industry Forum Objectives:
- Provide a voice on behalf of the Australian energy & resource business community on important business issues for members.
- Help develop strategic dialogue with Australian Government, relevant Chinese Government officials, academics, and businesses on issues including access, opportunities, regulatory and administrative procedures.
- Help members connect with each other for potential cooperative business efforts under a ‘Brand Australia’ approach to the industry.
The Industry Forum consists of members from a diverse range of industries in the energy & resources sector, including energy production, mining for energy, chemical energy production, energy-related equipment, service and consulting firms associated with the energy industry.
AustCham members with interest in the Energy & Resources Industry Forum in addition to relevant visiting Australian ministers, meet regularly for planning and discussion on member related industry updates, roundtable events with additional ad hoc speakers and industry fairs throughout the year. Members in this sector also benefit from initiatives such as live industry update events, industry related news talking points, online resources and white papers.
