JOINT AUSTCHAM AND GROUP OF EIGHT – CHINA GRAD SEARCH (CGS)

The China-Australia Chamber of Commerce, Beijing (AustCham) and the Australian Group of Eight (Go8) Universities have partnered to develop a revolutionary new platform, the China Grad Search (CGS) online facility. This tool is intended to connect graduates exclusively from Australia’s most prestigious research Universities with AustCham’s Beijing, South China, West China, Bohai and the Chinese Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) member companies.

Using the CGS, graduates from Go8 Universities will be able to easily create a profile and upload their qualifications and experiences on to the online platform. AustCham and CCOIC member companies will then be able to search for top tier graduates and engage in conversations about job opportunities. The tool is intended to be available to all graduates from the Go8 Universities and to over 60,000 AustCham and CCOIC member companies. The service will be free for both students and affiliated companies.

The collaboration between AustCham and Go8 is designed to enhance and develop employment opportunities for University graduates both new to China and those returning locally based companies. With formulations based on years of experience in the Chinese business sector and with Australian higher education institutions this venture looks to fill a gap in the market by injecting fresh Australian trained talent into a host of industries. Key features of the platform will include bilingual services, a user-friendly interface, private member logins, searchable databases and internal messaging.
