Hong Bao and Grace Zhao’s family migrated to Melbourne in 2008 and entered the beef industry. Meanwhile, back in China, as food safety problems worsened, demand for safe and quality food soared. The opportunities boomed to sell safe and healthy Australian beef into China. Yunnan Lanshun Aoniu Trade Co., Ltd was established in 2013 in the family’s hometown – Kunming – for distribution of Australian beef in China.

Today, Lanshun has set up professional importing, storing, processing and distributing networks. Since establishment of the company, “High quality service and sincerity is first” has been Lanshun’s operating principle. Insisting on the customers’ needs are central, as well as quality and safety are the key points for development. Lanshun is determined to create a well-known brand of imported foods in China.

Lanshun partners with leading companies in the industry, such as the world famous meat producing and processing enterprise ‘JBS Australia’,  the ‘Warmoll family’ who are famous for their high quality “Jacks Creek” Angus beef and wagyu beef. 2017 is the third year for “Jacks Creek” to win the top prize at World Steak Challenge in London. Our company is now the biggest distributor for the brand “Jacks Creek” in China.

Lanshun have already built a cold storage of 300m^2 (able to simultaneously store 300 tones of frozen meat products) as well as a low temperature processing workshop, located in the Yanglin Industrial area of Kunming. With the help and guidance received from MLA, our company have trained a group of workers specialised in cutting, processing, packaging and stocking.

Lanshun work with wholesalers, restaurants groups, catering businesses, supermarkets and conglomerate companies. Our products are sold across the country to Shanghai, Beijing, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangzhou and Yunnan, Fujian, Sichuan and more.

As a member of Austcham West China in Kunming, Lanshun also work with Australian Trade Commission office in Kunming, helping Australian quality product sellers together to set up the Australia Pavilion at China South Asia Expo since 2016. It has been a great opportunity to promote and sell safe, quality Australia products at the expo.
