China, the largest coal producer and consumer in the world, accounted for 35% of global coal production in 2004. Australia, a large coal mine country, is the largest export country around the world with advanced work safety technology and management of coal production. In order to promote the cooperation and development of coal industry and work safety between China and Australia and create a high-level platform of coal industry cooperation between the two countries, China Australia Mining Development Alliance Pty Ltd (CAMDA), under the great support of China State Administration of Work Safety, State Administration of Coal Mine Safety and related authorities and organization of Australian government, was founded in Beijing in January 2005 by China Research Center of Coal Industry Development and Australia Mining Services International Pty Limited. CAMDA, a mining cooperation bridge between China and Australia, provide all-round mining services between China and Australian government, enterprises and research institutes. |
