Ticket Purchase Information and Communication

Each person buying tickets must provide all the details requested, including a valid email address. All communications regarding arrangements for the event for the tickets purchased by this person will be sent to the email address provided. AustCham China is not responsible for any errors in the information provided. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the provided email address is correct and regularly monitored. Communications sent to the provided email address will be considered delivered.

Event Terms and Conditions

1. Admission and Identification

    • Ticket holders must present original or screenshot of valid identification along with their ticket for entry.
    • Tickets will only be valid for use by the person whose details are registered through the registration system. You may transfer ownership of a ticket by contacting events@austcham.org.
    • Attendees must be at least 18 years old to attend the event.

2. Timing and Attendance

    • The event is scheduled for Saturday, 7 September 2024.
    • Registration begins at 5:30 PM. The cocktail reception starts at 5:45 PM, and dinner service begins from 7:00 PM.
    • Service will not be delayed for late arrivals.

3. Dress Code

    • The event is black-tie and ball-gown. Formal attire is required.

4. Prohibited Items

    • No outside food or beverages are allowed.
    • Weapons, illegal substances, and any items deemed dangerous by event security are prohibited.

5. Behaviour and Conduct

    • Attendees must behave respectfully and courteously towards other guests, staff, and performers.
    • Any disruptive behaviour may result in ejection from the event without a refund.
    • The organizer reserves the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated or behaves inappropriately.
    • Attendees will be responsible for any damage caused to the venue or any equipment as a result of their behaviour.
    • Attendees will be responsible for injury caused to themselves or others as a result of being intoxicated.

6. Photography and Media

    • Photography and video recording by guests are permitted, but commercial use is prohibited without prior written consent from AustCham China.
    • By attending, guests consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional purposes.

7. Health and Safety

    • Attendees must comply with all health and safety regulations in place at the time of the event, including any COVID-19 protocols.
    • Guests are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their belongings.

8. Medical

    • Medical staff will be available at the event. If you feel unwell, please approach the medical staff or inform the event staff, who will assist you in getting medical attention.

9. Liability

    • AustCham China is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event.
    • Attendees assume all risks associated with attending the event.

10. Cancellation and Refunds

    • Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of a full cancellation by the organizers.
    • If the event is postponed, tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date or can be refunded upon request.

11. Force Majeure

    • AustCham China reserves the right to cancel the event without liability in circumstances beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or other unforeseen events).

12. Transportation

    • Guests may register to travel to or from the event by buses that will be arranged by AustCham China.
    • These buses will depart from designated locations in the city and Shunyi. Departure times will be advertised and advised to persons who have indicated they intend to travel by bus to and/or from the event.
    • Buses will depart from the venue at 10:30 PM and at the end of the event (expected 12:30 AM).
    • Guests using event-provided transportation must adhere to the schedules provided. Buses will not wait for no shows.
    • Guests who do not register for event-provided transportation must make their own way to the venue. Limited public parking for private cars is available onsite on a first-come-first-served basis.

13. Guest Details Notification

    • People or companies purchasing tickets on behalf of others must provide the names and contact details of all guests to AustCham China by 23 August 2024.
    • This information is required for AustCham China to comply with notification requirements to relevant authorities.
    • A registration form will be delivered to the purchaser.

14. Special Requirements

    • Any dietary restrictions or special requirements must be communicated in writing, in advance, through the registration portal.

15. Seating Arrangements

    • Tickets sold as a table must sit together. The location of the table will be determined by AustCham China. Seating at the table may be determined by the person who purchased the tickets.
    • The seating arrangements for all other tickets will be determined by the organizer.

16. Acknowledgment of Terms

    • By paying for the ticket, attendees acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
    • Persons purchasing tickets for others undertake to advise their guests of these conditions before they attend the event.

17. Binding Decisions

    • The decisions of AustCham China regarding the application and interpretation of these provisions are final and binding in all cases.

    • 参加者需对由于醉酒对自己或他人造成的伤害负责。

6. 摄影和媒

    • 允许客人进行摄影和录像,但未经书面同意,禁止商业用途。

7. 健康和安

13. 不可抗

    • 在不可控的情况下(例如,自然灾害、极端天气条件或其他不可预见的事件),中国澳大利亚商会保留取消活动而不承担责任的权利。

14. 交通安

    • 客人可以注册乘坐由中国澳大利亚商会安排的巴士往返活动现场。
    • 这些巴士将从市区和顺义的指定地点出发。出发时间将提前通知有意乘坐巴士往返于活动的人员。
    • 巴士将于晚上10:30和活动结束时(预计为午夜12:30)从活动现场出发。

    • 未注册使用活动提供交通工具的客人必须自行前往活动现场。现场提供有限的私人车辆停车位,先到先得。

14. 客人信息通知

    • 代表他人购买门票的个人或公司必须在2024年8月7日之前向中国澳大利亚商会提供所有嘉宾的姓名和联系方式。
    • 此信息是为了使中国澳大利亚商会能够遵守相关当局的通知要求。
    • 购票者将收到一份注册表格。

15. 特殊要求

  • 任何饮食限制或特殊要求必须通过注册平台提前以书面形式通知。

16. 座位安

    • 作为一个桌子售出的门票必须坐在一起。桌子的具体位置将由中国澳大利亚商会决定。桌子上的座位可以由购票人决定。
    • 其他门票的座位安排将由主办方决定。

17. 条款确

    • 通过支付门票费用,参加者承认并同意这些条款和条件。
    • 为他人购买门票的人有责任在参加活动前告知其客人这些条件。

18. 决定具有约束

    • 中国澳大利亚商会关于这些条款和条件的应用和解释的决定在所有情况下都是最终和有约束力的。
