Australia to become an original party to world’s largest free trade agreement

 

Australia has joined New Zealand to ratify the world’s biggest free trade deal among southeast Asian nations and their major trading partners.

The deal is the world’s largest trade pact, representing about 30 percent of the global population and gross domestic product.

Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, The Hon Dan Tehan MP, together with the Hon Marise Payne, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister for Women issued a joint media release to announce this welcomed news for Australian farmers and business.
