On January 17th, at the invitation of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), AustCham China’s Chair Vaughn Barber, CEO Tian Zhang, and COO Nathan Hou attended the Business Leaders Networking Reception and CCOIC Foreign-Invested Enterprises Committee Annual Meeting.

On one hand, China’s leadership in renewable energy technologies, electric vehicles, battery production, and consumer market scale creates opportunities for Australian businesses to access leading technologies and resources at lower cost through scale.
一方面，中国在可再生能源技术、新能源汽车、电池生产等领域处于全球领先地位。同时，巨大的消费市场规模为产业提供了低成本生产的优势。
On the other hand, Australia’s strengths in mineral resources, LNG, agrifood, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing position it as a key partner for China’s ongoing efforts to modernize its industries and transition to sustainable energy sources.
另一方面，澳大利亚在矿产资源、液化天然气、农业食品、医疗健康和先进制造等领域具备显著优势，是中国在推动产业转型升级和能源转型过程中的重要合作伙伴。
By leveraging their respective strengths, Australia and China are well-positioned to deepen economic ties and create a robust framework for long-term cooperation, ensuring mutually beneficial growth in the evolving global landscape.
