Member’s Event: “Medical Products HUB”

As a result of the current coronavirus or Covid-19 outbreak, there has been a significant increased global demand for medical supplies and equipment. This, combined with the Chinese borders now being closed to all foreign nationals, has created difficulty in access and sourcing of medical supplies with certainty or consistency from China, the world’s major manufacturer and supplier of medical products.
In a co-ordinated approach with ACBC in Australia and AustChams in China, Nihao Global has established a “Medical Products HUB”. The “Medical Products Hub” will enable enquiries from clients to be matched with manufacturers and agents regarding the supply of medical equipment from China.
This offline “Medical Products HUB” is for purchasers who are Government, Hospitals, Healthcare institutions, Registered Doctors and Registered Not for Profits seeking medical products, and the ability to purchase with confidence from China. Access can be gained by reaching out directly to Nihao Global or to the ACBC in your state/territory or through the AustCham Chambers in Beijing and Shanghai.
Currently the “Medical Products HUB” has and continues onboarding, vetting and reviewing information provided by a number of Agents and Manufacturers in the following categories:
– Face Mask
– Medical Glasses
– Medical Clothing
– Rapid Diagnostics – Ventilators
– Sterilisation
– Technology
Further, to provide additional assurance when purchasing from China and given certain countries have suddenly closed their borders to the export of medical equipment and supplies, AON’s (the Global Risk Management group) and other professional service providers will provide support to purchasers where required.
