AustCham China at CIIE 2024

Today, AustCham China has been actively engaged at the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, supporting our member companies and proudly highlighting the strength of Australian brands on the global stage.

The CIIE is a significant event in the international business calendar. This year, the Australian Pavillion at CIIE features 172 exhibitors, with a total of 253 Australian companies participating — a record number that underscores the strength and optimism of our bilateral economic ties.

中国国际进口博览会作为全球商务界的焦点之一，今年迎来172家澳大利亚参展商和253家澳大利亚企业的积极参与，创下历史新高，充分体现了中澳经贸合作的强大韧性和无限潜力。

During a recent meeting, China’s Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao welcomed Australian Minister for Trade and Tourism Don Farrell, affirming mutual goals of sustained cooperation.

近日，中国商务部部长王文涛接待了澳大利亚贸易与旅游部长唐·法雷尔，并重申了持续合作的目标。

Both sides highlighted the importance of building a stable and healthy relationship, which is viewed as essential for promoting long-term economic growth between our countries.

双方一致强调构建稳固和谐的双边关系，是推动两国长远经济发展的重要基石。
