Christopher Neil is the Managing Director of the Orient Group of Companies spanning Australia, Hong Kong and China. Originally from Perth, he first visited China in the early 90’s as a tour guide and studied Mandarin Chinese. Christopher has extensive experience having held senior management positions with multinational companies in various industries, including Foster’s China, The Great Wall Sheraton Hotel and holds directorships with multiple companies. He is a regular keynote speaker and advises Australian companies on their China strategy, engagement and representation. Christopher has expertise spanning all aspects of business from the conceptual, due diligence and feasibility stages to financing, marketing and commissioning.

Christopher has proven success in assisting clients with international relations and has broad contacts and extensive experience advising foreign companies on entering and engaging with the Chinese market, and local companies going global. Christopher travels extensively throughout China and the region.
