Kooka Networking Drinks is an informal networking and socialising event held every Friday evening at Aria Restaurant, China World Hotel. It is THE meeting spot for Australians and friends of Australia, and convenes from 6:30pm – 9:30pm.

A few hardy Aussies who wanted to bring a feeling of Australia to Beijing brought Kooka Networking Drinks to life back in June 2004. It began with just a few guys meeting up on regular basis to share stories and to enjoy a meeting spot where everyone felt at home.

Today Kooka Networking Drinks has grown beyond a small handful of mates meeting up into a social focus for the whole Australian community and their friends but it keeps to its original style. Everyone's welcome and anything goes at the Kooka - a place to network, meet people, or just kick back with a few beers and relax.
