Be a part of this luncheon round-table discussion with Mr Gilles Planté, CEO North Asia, Europe and America from the ANZ Bank.  Gilles will share his insights on a range of topical and current economic and financial issues including commodity price movements, exchange rate fluctuations and the current state of play in global financial markets.  Gilles will also cover in his presentation China, and its relationship and connectivity with Australia so this session will be of direct relevance to members and member companies.

Gilles brings to the discussion, over two decades of experience in financial markets, having worked in Paris, Tokyo, New York and Singapore.  In his presentation Gilles will examine challenges and opportunities in the current uncertain global economic environment, touch on macro-economic and regulatory issues in the financial sector and examine the inflationary risks that are rising in prominence across the globe as Governments inject liquidity into financial markets to ensure continued credit availability.  Finally, Gilles will share his outlook for the dollar, energy and natural resources and, following on from the recent NPC meeting, China's position with respect to the RMB.
